Tip: Try asking AI "What is this person avoiding?" about your entries. The honesty of a journal plus the pattern-matching of AI is remarkably useful.

Privacy
Your data stays on your device.
Plume stores every entry in a local, encrypted database on your Mac, iPhone, and iPad. No Plume account required. Sync is optional.
If you enable iCloud sync, Plume encrypts sync data on your device with a key derived from your sync passphrase before uploading it to your private CloudKit database. Your other devices need that passphrase to read it.
No content analytics. No third-party trackers. Your words are not training data. That's it. No asterisk.
